Ricky was a good kid who will be remembered for his smiling face and generous heart. Too bad his young life was cut so short.

After high school, Rick and I spent a semester commuting together to Farleigh Dickenson in Madison NJ..He was truly one of the nicest guys I had ever known.. Very easy going with a good sense of humor; good athlete too. I remember the day when I received the news that Rick "hit a tree". He hung in there for several days; I got a chance to visit him during that time..I really thought he was going to pull through as he was communicative..God wanted him more. That was a real tragedy.

You beat me to the punch. His favorite line was " I'm going to live to be 100!! " I feel great". Rick was a monster on the basketball court. I actually witnessed him dunk the ball at one of the parks!

That night was a nightmare!! Coming back from NY. This is when the city was frantic over the son of Sam stuff. Rick was anxious to get home especially when we witnessed a guy get out of his car in traffic to put his shot gun away in his trunk. We got the hell out of there alive, but unfortunatly didn't make it to Springfield in one piece.

I'll never forget him. A good friend who would think nothing of doing you a favor.

Remember folks in one flash of a light your whole life can change as did mine!
As Joe Nat said " don't waste good agony"- makes sense now as I'm older although I did pick myself up after a year being home and got my degree etc.

Thanks to you Mitch for your support during this time of grief and horror as we all lost a good man. You were there at my house when we found out the bad news.

RICKY WAS ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS GROWING UP. "BIG RICK" AS WE USE TO CALL HIM. HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE. A GREAT ATHLETE WHO LOVED TO PLAY BASKETBALL. I REMEMBER PLAYING BASKETBALL WITH HIM AND ALSO PLAYING STICKBALL ON MY GRANDMOTHER'S STREET IN SPLFD. RICKY ALWAYS HAD A NEW PAIR OF SNEAKERS EVERY OTHER TIME I SAW HIM. I THINK HIS DAD WORKED FOR A SHOE TYPE CLOTHING STORE. HIS BROTHER JEFF WAS ALSO A NICE GUY. RICKY WAS ONE OF THE NICEST GUYS I EVER MET WHO ALSO HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. I WONDER WHAT TYPE OF MAN RICKY WOULD HAVE BECOME IF LIFE WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN HIM AT SUCH AN" EARLY AGE". RICKY  I WILL MISS YOU "FOREVER", YOU WERE TRULY ONE OF THE "BEST FRIENDS"!  LOVE ALWAYS, JESS.  HOPEFULLY YOU WILL SEE JOEY UP IN HEAVEN..................
